Neste had sponsored the Finnish Jyväskylä WRC race for 20 years. Our task was to design a campaign that celebrates the sponsorship and attracts new target groups for the sport.
The image of the sport had declined steadily during the recent years, especially among the young urban target group. Another challenge was to get the audience from big cities to Jyväskylä’s forests.
We took rally away from the forests by planning and executing a world-class rally event in the middle of Helsinki downtown.
Superson was responsible of the concept planning, sponsoring deals, PR, advertising, event production, digital solutions and social media marketing. We also did a lot of peer to peer communication to spread the word all over the world.
Neste Oyj is an oil refining and marketing company located in Espoo, Finland. It produces, refines and markets oil products and provides engineering services, as well as licensing production technologies.
Neste has been the main sponsor of Finnish WRC Rally since 1994
The event gathered over 20.000 spectators.
